General tips for publicizing your business:

  • Be sure you present a clean, professional image. 
  • Be clear on your target audience.  Things that might work for one group, might not work for another!
  • Know your competition.  What do they do? Are you fighting for exactly the same customers, or are you in separate niches?
  • Don’t try to be your competition.  Capitalize on things that you do well.  Know your own strengths.
  • Get your name out there!  Try something unconventional and don’t be afraid!
  • Word-of-mouth referrals are still some of the strongest and most reliable business generators, take advantage of it and tell people you meet how excited you are about your company.
